National Testing Services NTS failure in Commonwealth Scholarship 2014

Islamabad- Sana Mirza, National Testing Services NTS corruption has been reported in recently conducted test for Commonwealth Scholarship program here in Pakistan for the year 2014.NTS arranged test in all major centers of the Country by sending Admit cards to candidates at their home.
NTS charges normally Rs.800 from the candidates as test fees. Most of the graduate & Master students always claimed NTS to be as dough Fish. This time mostly students are claiming that they have marked right choices which they are confident enough as NTS this year updated its policy & issued a carbon copy of marked answer sheet right after the test. However candidates can check & compare answers with the answer key on nts website, next day of the TEST.

NTS is totally winding up people through showing fairness via cutting seal of Exam books through any candidates, issuing multiple color books and shuffle it in the testing room and through carbon copy of answer sheets.Candidates are slagging off NTS this time by saying that they have remembered some answers which they marked 100% correct are showing wrong on Answer key at website. The carbon copy or Answer sheet has only marked options like A.B.C.D.E nothing else. You can't say anything about Question no 36 as its right option might be A or might be E.So in the same manner one of the candidate among who appeared in Commonwealth Scholarship 2014 is whining that he has remembered that he has marked Q.2 as D but he got shocked when he saw right answer was A on NTS website's answer key.

Credibility of NTS has always seemed to be as issue.News groups and peoples are always nagging NTS performance on the basis of merit.Recent teachers selection for Public colleges and universities is example of what NTS is doing under Public sector umbrella.

Now everyone is demanding NTS should be privatize or test like common wealth & recruitment test for Public sector should be conducted via any private testing services (3rd Umpire). So no one will bicker on its failure.

Jobless & Hopeless

To paraphrase a line from Alice in wonderland, "If you don't know where you 're going, any road will get you there."

The first thing to decide before taking any further action is, what do you want? Is it just a job in which you earn enough money to get by? Or is it continuous growth and a long term career path? Perhaps it's independence and self control?

You might find yourself saying 'YES' to all these options. However, despite what people may tell you, you can't have it all! You need to know what is most important for you right now:
a) a steady salary
b) a career
c) Self employment?

If you 've saved enough money to run your household or if you currently don't have any financial responsibilities, then skip option 'a' and move onto option 'b' & 'c'. But if you are like most people in today's challenging economic climate, then securing a steady revenue stream is probably your first priority, so head down this direction first.

Now, money is money. If it comes from clerical work or from a managerial job.I suggest to first list down all the skills you have and link them to your potential jobs.Don't restrict your thinking. Can you teach or tutor? Set-up a stall in the weekly bazaars? Can you deliver fast food?

I read an article in Fortune magazine that highlighted top US executives who, after getting down-sized, delivered pizza to get by until job prospects improved.

I know some live examples where someone started his career as CSR in call center and now they are running there own Call center just after few years. My friend Haris started his career in Pizza Hut during under-graduation as CSR and now he is running Pizza Hut branch as Branch Manager after graduation.I know a person named Syed Munner who started his career as TELLER in a Bank while he has done Masters from University of Karachi but after 3 years he was selected as OPERATION MANAGER in the same branch of the bank where he was appointed as teller.

An interesting thing one executive said was that there is no shame in work, but there's plenty of shame in waiting for charity.
If above all can do it, then why can't you????

BEST OF LUCK for your career

Ali Gul Pir - Wadera ka beta song misled Saeens

Recently social web blockbuster song "Wadere ka beta" by Ali Gul Pir was on every lips across Pakistan. Everyone were considering it as a revolutionary song against feudalism in Pakistan. But it was noticed that young feudalist picked this song as honor for them.Son of Wadera listens song proudly in his hammer.Example of Shahzeb murder case by Wadera Shahrukh Jatoi can viewed as reflection of this song where Shahrukh believing himself as "Shahrukh Khan" killed Shahzeb to show world that he is the Boss & he can do anything in Pakistan, no one can even mess with him.Interestingly the name of song's character is "AKBAR JATOI" and before killing Shazeb in mouth firing between Shahrukh & Shahzeb, Shahrukh was found proclaiming that he is "Shahrukh Jatoi" (so called AKBAR JATOI of song) and proudly declaring himself Wadera of the region and threatening Shahrukh of bad results clashing with feudals.Actually Shahrukh (Wadera) servant misbehaved Shahzeb's sister before all these back-clash.When Shahzeb went for complaining servants act to Shahrukh, he refused Shahzeb considering himself a President of white house and his servant as a Raymond Davis..like songs words "SAEEN TO SAEEN- SAEEN KA KUTTA BHI SAEEN".But he 've totally forgot that he is living in 21st century, especially in Metropolitan city like KARACHI where he can do everything which a wadera can do in his interior Sindh self control State. He can treat his inhabitants like animals but in cities like Karachi where people consider these waderas like Donkey not else, he can not do anything.

Shahrukh who escaped Dubai earlier after the murder is now in Jail. He came back due to PPP influence on his father coz his father has remained MPA in Sindh assembly as PPP candidate. So PPP was in criticism after this case & they convinced Shahrukh's father to bring back him Pakistan in  promise to release him safely when people 'll forgot the case. But he should remember that there is no Guarantee of 2 things: 1. Chinese product & 2. PPP government's promise.

I think Shahrukh Jatoi has made biggest blunder after coming back Pakistan & giving himself in custody.Although he has seen as living in a wonder world in jail, he is giving all luxuries of life in Jail but election is near & if PPP loses election Shahrukh could has to lose his life as Halter order by court.

Lessons from My Bosses

by

I’ve worked directly for 7 financial services CEOs (don’t ask…..it’s a really long story) and covered many more during my days as a research analyst. Each of them worked very, very hard; each of them was incredibly smart; and each of them was human. They each taught me a lot as I saw them work under great stress….both “what to do’s” and (unintentionally) “what to don’ts.”
The best really understood the concept of NPV (net present value). By that, I mean they were willing to forgo earnings today, to invest smartly for more earnings tomorrow. For example, at Sanford Bernstein, we pulled our research analysts out of the underwriting business, with the view that an unconflicted business model, focused on just one set of clients, would be a winning one. (It was, eventually, but it sometimes hurt along the way.) In contrast, others tried to maximize every quarter’s earnings, cutting investments halfway through the year (or quarter) like clockwork in order to reach consensus analyst estimates. Even worse, a number consistently under-invested in technology, mostly because it was hard to quantify the return. The end results ranged from poor customer and employee experiences, to devastating mistakes in managing risk.
The best set the company’s course, communicated it broadly and were ok if some shareholders chose to sell the stock. In contrast, there was one who set the company’s annual budget based on meeting sell-side earnings estimates. Here the cart was firmly before the horse.
The best: one of my bosses was insatiably (almost obnoxiously) curious; he would stop people in the hall to ask about some detail of their business, or some tidbit he had heard in his travels. He peppered nearly everyone he met with questions, including unsuspecting taxi drivers. His business reviews were exhausting, detailed affairs, akin to mental marathons, in which explanations were not taken at face value. The result was that everyone operated at a higher standard.
On the other hand, I once sat through an entire business review in which the CEO didn’t ask his managers a single substantive question. Instead, he opined on his view of the business to (or at) the assembled businesspeople.
The best: at one firm, the culture was to hire unconventionally, bringing in people with a broad range of backgrounds. The talent we uncovered, where others weren’t looking, could be amazing. In contrast, a couple of CEOs surrounded themselves with a long-tenured “inner circle” and filtered information through them. One of the many reasons for the financial melt-down was the unexamined groupthink that pervaded Wall Street, enabled by senior managers “breathing the same air.”
The best didn’t just say he cared about employees in the Corporate Value statement. He actually did. And he demonstrated it, in one case using his Board contacts to find a top specialist physician for the dying girlfriend of one of our employees (an employee he had never met, by the way). This rippled through the company like wildfire and was a source of pride. At another company, while the Corporate Value statement said about the same things, one long-time senior executive was fired while he was on vacation with his family (!)…..and was given the responsibility of announcing it to his management team in a conference call scheduled for 30 minutes later (!!) Oh, and it was a reorganization; the guy was not fired for cause. This too rippled through the company like wildfire, but in a very different way.
The best CEOs gave thoughtful, detailed performance feedback to his directs on a regular basis. In contrast, I worked in one business that coupled forced stack rankings of employees with anonymous 360 degree performance reviews. What those reviews lacked in pettiness, they made up for in nastiness, as employees tried to improve their own relative standing by anonymously criticizing their peers. Lovely.
The best CEO was highly visible during the financial crisis; even if he was saying the same thing again and again, you had no doubt that he was captaining the ship. In contrast, one leader hunkered down and nearly stopped returning phone calls as he worked through the issues. The work and mental effort were admirable, but the lack of visibility fed enormous anxiety at the company.

Pakistan should do something for Palestine

Islamabad (Routers) Pakistan should play its vital role as a Premier Islamic Nuclear power for the defense of innocent people in Palestine against world's no.1 terrorist nation Israel.
Israel is bombarding its expensive weapons on innocent Muslims of Palestine. If it can watch how their father America is fucking with Taliban in Afghanistan than they will realize how strong Muslims are in the world.

I think Pakistan should do again what it has done in Saudi Arabia when Israel was going to attack holy Land & 2 Pakistani jets pushed whole Israeli air force to rush back & runaway from the battle just in couples of hours.

We should remember that we are a Muslim state and whole Muslim world are brother like a whole body.If one part of body is in trouble how could it is possible that other part of body can't resist pain.We named our atomic bomb  as "ISLAMIC BOMB" so now it's time to fire our nuclear asset against worlds largest Evil power Israel.

If this is not a suitable time for using these nuclear bomb than Pakistan should fire all these nuclear stuff in upcoming new year night coz jews is believing in the fact that world will end after 2012 so what Pakistan will do with these weapons so it should fire on the air on NEW YEAR NIGHT 2013.Other wise in coming time children in Pakistan will buy these bombs and bombard it in SHAB E BUR'AT.

World's longest married couple is from Pakistan

  • Karam, 107, and Katari, 100, have been married for 87 years
  • They have 8 children and 28 grandchildren together
  • The marriage is almost 5 years longer than current Guinness record holders
  • Couple say that laughter and looking after each other is key to marriage
In an age where few marriages endure the test of time, 107-year-old Karam and his wife Katari Chand, 100, are proof that happy ever after does exist.
The couple, who have eight children and twenty eight grandchildren together, have lived in wedded bliss for 87 years making them the world's longest married couple.
The pair say that the key to success is looking after each other in every way possible: ‘My trick is to make Katari laugh. I like to tell jokes and make her smile. Being funny is my way of being romantic.' says Karam.
Karam and Katari Chand have been married for 87 years and are in the process of being confirmed as Guinness World Record holders for the world's longest marriage

‘I have been told laughing makes you live longer... my wife is still alive so it must have worked! I love her so much and I want to spend another 80 years by her side,’ said Karam.
From romantic meals to sharing jokes, the couple, who hail from Punjab, India and now live in Bradford ensure that they do little things for each other to keep the romance alive.

Katari told romantic networking site Zoosk.co.uk: ‘When I was young I used to make him a nice fresh meal every night. We are vegetarian so I brought lots of fresh vegetables and made sure he was eating healthy food.
‘Health is very important and I wanted to look after him so we could grow old together. Some would say it has worked!

‘Oh and how can I forget, I always save a bit of my chapatti for him. Just a little gesture that he appreciated a lot and it kept me a bit slimmer.’
Karam, who likes to do a word search every day to keep his mind alive, believes that spending plenty of time together has helped their marriage last.
‘We have not spent any long span apart in over 50 years. We go everywhere together – up until a few years ago we went to India every year with the family and for all family weddings we make sure we get to stay together,’ he said.

Their marriage has lasted nearly five years longer than that of the current Guinness World Record holders and the couple are in the process of getting confirmation from the company that they will be named as the new record holders.
Many modern day romances fail to stand the test of time but longevity and experience makes Karam the best man to go to for relationship advice.
‘In the past people used to listen. Now I don’t think people take the time to listen to each other properly. People seem too busy today with work, TV and other stuff going on around them.
‘Relationships are about understanding one another and listening to concerns and problems, so my advice to men and women is to listen to their partners, show interest in what they are saying and help them overcome any worries or problems they are going through,’ he said.
Karam and Katari Chand received a certificate of achievement from dating site Zoosk
The couple love to make each other laugh and will have a joint birthday celebration in November

And their son Satpaul, who is extremely proud of his parent’s relationship, added his own words of wisdom.
He said: ‘One piece of advice that I can’t stress enough is to keep your parents very close. We live with them in Bradford and look after them because we want to help them live as long as they can together.
‘I don’t want to see their love story end. I truly believe that by helping them over the last few years we have enabled them to enjoy their time together with no stress and being looked after.
'Also, you have to value them while they are here because you never know how long they are going to be around for.’
The still loved-up couple, who met through an arranged marriage, are having a big party in November to celebrate Karam’s 107th and Katari’s 100th birthday. The Mayor of Bradford as well as lots of community members will be joining in the festivities.

4 Pakistani urban legends and other dreadful tales

4 Pakistani urban legends and other dreadful tales
It is a scary world we live in, there has been a recession that has cost us our jobs and our money when we do have jobs, as to get to work we need cars which run on fuel, and fuel costs almost a hundred rupees per litre. You can’t win! Then there is the huge threat of climate change hanging above our heads like a school bell, ready to ring any second and shocking us into accidentally stabbing ourselves in the ribs with an extra sharp pencil, because real life is as awesome and inexplicable as Korean horror. But nothing is scarier than the stories we have grown up with, things that your friend in school swore happened to her tai’s niece’s friend. This girl lived a charmed life as she managed to find death in every situation but lived to tell her tale and endure yet another fantastically macabre incident. I salute you, She Whom I Have Never Seen. Your adventures in life make me stop wringing my hands over silly things like global warming and Imran Khan’s politics. You, I say, are legend.
In case you’re wondering what our brave but beautiful heroine has gone through in her life, only to come out stronger, allow me to elaborate.

# 4 – The Hathora Group

Now if you were born at a time when you grew up watching Pokemon and not silent cartoons on PTV with your breakfast at 7 a.m., you won’t know anything about it. You probably don’t even know who Sultan Golden is! Dear god, what are you waiting for? Go Google him already. But us kids growing up in the ’80s had a secret fear: ‘If I don’t get those Bubblegummers with blinky lights on, no one will come to my birthday!’ Our lesser fear was of the Hathora Group.
‘Hammer Time’ took on a whole new meaning.
The Hathora Group, my friends, had us terrorized for months to an end. Legend has it that a group of men would break into your house, steal your valuables, and then, like the mercenaries they were, hammer you to death…with hathoras! Too bad Aaron Hotchner and the rest of the Behavioral Analysis guys weren’t around back then. They would have cracked the case immediately, like so many bones with a hammer. Thor’s.
You couldn’t go anywhere without hearing about the dreaded Hathora Group. Everyone immediately hired guards and called their men home from Qatar or wherever it was that dudes went to make enough money to build their own homage to the White House back then. Everyone knew someone who had fallen victim to the Group…they have still not been caught and loom like a giant question mark in our minds…and hammers in their hands.

# 3 – The Chadda Group

Enter the ’90s. You remember the ’90s: Spice Girls, IRC, about a zillion douches who called themselves Neo on chat and the sweet agony of not knowing whether Ross and Rachel would ever end up together? Also Junoon before Salman Ahmad’s sense of reality keeled over with embarrassment the first time he said ‘Guys, I know what, why don’t I duet with Atiqa Odho on Jeeain on TV?’ Good times. The ’90s brought their own curse with them: The Chadda Group.
The Chadda Group was definitely more sinister than the Hathora Group in my eyes and if you think my sense of reality has been altered by all the practice runs I am being made to master by my sister in case a zombie apocalypse happens, you are right. My genes are all about the myth and don’t care much for cold, hard fact. Anyway, the Chadda Group.
Trust me, it’s more imposing in real life.
This Group was made of some incredibly agile young men who broke into houses, looted, plundered and attempted assault, and ran off in record time. This was made easy by the fact that they preferred their boxers to pants, and slathered themselves in oil before committing their crime. The oil made it harder for people to hold on to them if they were ever caught, which I don’t believe they were. And despite the fact that my own brain is a little addled by all those days spent reading Rock n Roll Jihad, I maintain that they are scarier because only the very disturbed run around in nothing but their undercrackers and some Dalda.
The Chadda Group was a mystery, but someone should have come to my school where everyone was convinced that the Chadda leader was going out with a girl in my class.

# 2 – The Haunting of Devil’s Point

It actually doesn’t surprise me anymore that the first I heard of all the voodoo and ghost shenanigans that went down regularly at the Devil’s Point in Karachi was from the girl dating the alleged king of Chaddas. This girl, her boyfriend and their friends stalked the area for weeks, looking for the man sitting on a chair in the sea, reading his Quran backwards. Or was it woman? There are a gazillion versions of this story so I forget.
Some say the surfboard was made of human skulls.
Although I’d like to say that if that chair stayed put amidst the waves for all the time it took to read the entire holy book, this guy was doing something right.
Nobody who claimed to have seen this man/ woman/ glittery vampire of magnificence ever actually went up to the guy and spoke to him or tried to stop him though. I say when you see someone practicing the dark arts in a chair by the sea; report them to the Ministry
of Magic immediately, preferably while placing a discreet thumbtack on the chair.

# 1 – Karachi Pocketknife Massacre

It was with a serious face that someone told me a long time ago that I need to start wearing clothes with sleeves on, if I didn’t a special vigilante gang would stab me in the arm with the HIV virus.
And it’s kind of obvious what he would use for that.
She swore her cousin’s friend’s cousin had seen this happen. If I didn’t believe that, my friend said, I should at least watch out for the men going around with concealed knives to slash open the arm of any woman who dared to show some elbow. How I had laughed! How I am laughing now, as I consider the abovementioned scenarios are an actual possibility in Pakistan today.
But life is for the living, and to sum it up appropriately, can someone please make a Pakistani Urban Legend already before Rebecca Gayheart ODs and kills herself (I know I said Pakistani but in my head she does a cameo)?

Karachi University conversion of BS degree to Masters Failure

"How could University can extend passing year of a student if he has successfully cleared his all courses in his last year. And if they already planned to implement it on students than why they are irritating students for writing a BEGGING application"

After failure of HEC 's BS Program in the Universities of Pakistan.University of Karachi ' s academic council wrote a letter to HEC for asking permission to end the BS Program in University & implementing old 2-3 years graduation & 1-2 years masters program in the University again, right after producing its 1st BS Batch in the market.HEC is recognizing and calling BS degree as Old MA, M.COM & Msc degree.Problem arises when the BS passed student went for a master job but in the job market employer gave job to 2-1 years masters students after 2-3 years graduation and rejected BS student by saying that he is Bachelor not master so he should complete his master first than he or she should come for masters nature job. However BS holder is easily getting job of 14 years education (bachelor) but somehow they are getting rejected due to over qualification.
So after viewing all side-backs of BS program HEC gives permission to UOK that they can issue "HEC Recognized certificate" as equivalency of BS as Masters degree to BS students or if a BS passed students like to take 3 years graduation and 1 year masters degree so he can avail this facility.Through this step HEC continued its BS program for the students who want to go abroad for higher studies or for job.
My Question is just about conversion of BS to masters degree. I have completed my BS in 2011 as I enrolled in 2008.I applied for marksheets as conversion option form. All you have to do is to attach a optional form with your BS Marksheet form than you will receive 3 years marksheet plus 1 year Master marksheet.I cleared all my courses in my last year in 2011 including 1 course of 3rd year but I got interesting news that if I will go for conversion case than I will receive my BA (honors) degree as pass in 2011 instead of as pass in 2010 and automatically through a magical force I will receive 1 year master degree as pass in 2012 while I have not given any single paper in 2012.
FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO UNDERSTAND ALL THE ISSUE WHICH I RAISED IN MY BLOG
I accepted all these sucking rules as I got job of bachelor eligibility. The employer asked me to submit  2-3 years graduation marksheet so I accepted all rules & regulation for conversion case of BS Degree.Semester cell gave me 10 days awaiting time period for marksheet but after 10 days like other public institutions I got another 5 days waiting period. After 5 days I got the news that my form was already send to the department  12 days ago putting some objections.Objection was that I have given 1 course of BA (hons) in 2011 so I should write a fucking begging application in the name of Controller examiner that he should give me BA hons passing marksheet as pass in 2011 and MA in 2012 so now he will issue me marksheet again after "10  DAYS".

I want to ask anyone from HEC or Karachi University administration that what creepy rules and regulations you have, why are you putting it on students like that & playing with the future of students.I have wasted my 25 days just for a single mark-sheet.Whenever I objected for my passing year problem issue. If you want to issue me mark sheet as passed in 2020 I was agree because I know you people are just crap nothing else.

I think they should completly close BS Program in the university or they should not allow for a conversion option. It makes our degree like popular 50-50 biscuits.Half is salty and half is sweet. But in our degree case it is nothing more like Sour & spicy.

If a person is passed in 2011 how could you extend its passing year as 2012??? This is a question of mine to HEC and KU officials.I am hoping they will answer me.

Foolish Pakistani media don't know about who born on 1 APRIL

Today When I was celebrating my Birthday & watching Pakistani News channels. One thing which was shocking and embarrassing for me was every news & infotainment channels knows very well about 1 APRIL's history as "APRIL FOOL" and they were representing it as a funny day.But they all forgot the truth about history that on 1 April who became fool after whose misconceit. Also Pakistani news channels like GEO NEWS aka JEW NEWS presented many foolish news regarding bloody April Fool day but they all have forgotten that today on 1 APRIL our beloved Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan was born.Today is his birthday. No one knows it except Lovers of A.Q Khan.
Abdul Qadeer Khan(Urdu: ڈاکٹر عبد القدیر خان ; born: April 1, 1936), also respectively known in Pakistan as Mohsin-e-Pakistan (in Urdu: محسن پاکِستان; lit: Savior of Pakistan), FPAS, DEng, ScD, HI, NI (twice); more widely known as Dr. A. Q. Khan, is a Pakistani nuclear scientist and a metallurgical engineer, colloquially regarded as the founder of HEU based Gas-centrifuge uranium enrichment programme for Pakistan's integrated atomic bomb project.[2] Founded and established the Kahuta Research Laboratories (KRL) in 1976, he was both its senior scientist and the Director-General until his retirement in 2001, and was an early and vital figure in other science projects. Apart from participating in atomic bomb project, he made major contributions in morphology, physical martensite, and its integrated applications in condensed and material physics.
Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan who made Pakistan nation enough strong that today we are talking with world's dominating nuclear power through our red eyes.We have blocked its route when US Army attacked and killed our soldiers.Even US Government is thinking for negotiation & for asking forgiveness from Pakistani government for rushing back NATO supply in Afghanistan.US who crushed Iraq , Japan and Afghanistan has not enough courage to attack on US.Our arch rival INDIA who were previously till 1998 trying to attack & demolish Pakistan lost his courage to speak in front of Pakistan after 28 MAY 1998 FIVE (5) NUCLEAR BLAST.We are Alhamdulillah 8th World's Nuclear power and 1st Islamic country who has NUCLEAR WEAPONS.
All above has possible due to Sir Abdul Qadeer Khan.If you will read how he got the technology studying abroad and how he came Pakistan then you will definitely salute him for his courage and love for Pakistan nation.I think he was enjoying his life more safer than Pakistan. Here we have bounded & kept him in his own house for several years. If he did same thing for India , I am 100% sure Indian government definitely give him security more than their President.India have been made their scientist Dr. Abdul Kalam who made India 7th Nuclear power as President of India for several years. But we send our Scientists to jail putting several allegations on him.
In the end I just want to say Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan a single word "SORRY" because we have forgot him also his birthday.I wish him millions of Happiness on his Birthday.May Allah give him lots of blessings in his life.
AAMEEN.

A mighty question mark on PML-N " Merit Laptop Scheme"

We are regularly listening news of distribution of laptops by PML N Chief Minister Mian Shehbaz Sharif in Punjab.Students who have got free laptops are very happy and are calling this scheme 100% MERIT scheme. But what about students who are brilliant and are 200% eligible for getting laptops but can't get it due to NIC, DOMICILE problems. Some students have reported us that they belongs to PPP following family and some said that they are die heart fans of Imran Khan, so for this reason government of Punjab refuses us by putting allegations on us.Creating many faults on their applications. They all are asking what is the problem if they don't like PML N and its CM.If Government of Punjab is giving laptops on 100% merit than why they are giving it just only to students of PML N supporters families or you can just say "MSF-N" (Muslim Students Federation).
I just want to ask Mr. Shahbaz Sharif that how much he think a price of position holder is in his eyes.If some brilliant students needs laptops for appreciation of their hard work in students life.So I think a position holder of university should get a "FREE OFFICE" of 1000 sq/m that he or she can start their career with new office.Everyone knows better a fresh graduate life is like a cylindrical clay oven where students receives just heat & burning fire nothing else. If you got position in graduation you knows only happy day of your graduation is the day when you 'll receive Gold Medal. After which if you don't have enough political background or you are not from a sound family than you knows better that you'll lose your shoes soles but you will not get job easily. However if you qualifies after giving merit test than again you 'll ask for a heavy briefcase.
I 'll be very happy if Mr. Chief Minister of Punjab announces free seats of 17-18 Grads in Provincial governmental institutions of Punjab. He can also assure some seats in Ministry of Punjab for the brilliant students of PUNJAB.After which a student can feel his career secure and all students who are currently in schools & colleges 'll be must inspired by these actions & they definitely took interest in their education.

All Pakistan knows better that what is the main motive behind these "SASTI ROTI" & "MERIT LAPTOPS" schemes.Just "1" vote from every individuals. If Mr. Shahbaz Shareef has given subsidy to farmers of wheat instead of spending a huge amount on sasti roti scheme than I 'll petty sure that People of Punjab can easily avail 2 Rs Roti after harvesting of crops for a long term duration. If he spend money on building an "IT UNIVERSITY" in Punjab instead of spending useless money on LAPTOPS than the product which 'll comes after completing their education from IT university can made a lots of similar laptops in Pakistan which can generate revenue for our beloved country but Mr. CM has spend big amount of foreign exchange abroad for importing expensive laptops.

What a laptop or Cellular phone can give a student can be check by viewing his or her INBOX or HISTORY.No one can say that he is using laptop for educational purposes.I can bet more than 90% students who have got FREE LAPTOPS 'll use Facebook and other chatting messenger in it.Hardly few 'll took advantage from it.I think a PC of 9k or 10k can work same as a laptop of 30k - 35k.And PC is more reliable than a laptop.CM can give 3x more PC's in same amount of laptops.Laptop is more sensitive than a PC.You can't see for what purpose your child is using Laptop because he can use laptop anywhere hiding from everyone. But if he is using a personal computer you can put your eyesight in it.In the most difficult phase of energy crises where whole country facing electricity shortage what a laptop can give a student when he or she can't charge it.Punjab is facing more shortfall of energy than SINDH or other region. If PUNJAB GOVERNMENT spent some money on power generation than it would be good for those who didn't have children in Universities & colleges. They can't afford to give their child education till Universities. If government of Punjab gives free education in Universities for deserving bright students than it could be a good step. But I think they are just thinking how to snatch money from public after making them fool like famous "UMRU AYYAR".

My last question to MR. SHAHBAZ SHARIF is that "SIR with due respect, can you tell me why & how you get a idea of giving such  nice Laptops to bright students of Punjab in the last year of your government, when elections are just near. When you just came to know after Imran Khan's Jalsas in Lahore & Karachi that more than 70% population of Pakistan are youngsters and more than 60 % are above 18 years of age.So are you thinking to get vote from youngsters as well & wants to get in touch with youth via TWITTER, FACEBOOK & other social media just like PTI or IMRAN KHAN.If you can like to give answer of my questions than kindly write it in below comment box.I 'll appreciate your feedback.Thank you very much.

Waheeda Shah got slap from ECP in response of her slap

Finally the echo of Waheeda Shah’s slap has settled down. Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has disqualified her for two years and has declared the election null and void. This land mark verdict of E.C.P was not against Waheeda Shah only; it has slapped the whole feudal system in Pakistan.
Indeed Waheeda Shah is a ‘vaderan’ and her very illicit act shows that. I could still have goose bumps when I watch her slapping the two female presiding officers. It could have been any one’s mother, wife, sister or daughter. Is the common man or a poor is destitute of mercy from all these hi profile politicians or feudalism.  Though justice prevailed in the end, but it was only due to media. Media has over played the issue that has shocked the entire nation. We usually complain about media that it exaggerates the issues, but I would say it is only the exaggeration of media, that has brought the justice in power. Either it is Sialkot incident, or killing of a youth at the hands of rangers in Karachi, both were given justice because media were hauling the system over the coals. So we should be thank full to media, at least they have brought the justice to the lower class to some extent.
If any of such incidents would have happened a decade ago, when there was no private media. Could we even think of any justice that time? Just imagine if Waheeda Shah would have slapped the two ladies in the absence of media, would they have got justice? If media had not over played the issue, would the higher authorities have even bothered to take any action against the culprit? It has all happened due to media. But the question arises, is it only the media that has been the cause justice, to the lower class and will things always remain the same? We need to enforce such legislation that directly brings the all the politicians and feudalistic under the trial. It should not be the pressure of media that brings justice to the middle class; it should be the spirit of the authorities to make the all citizen accountable for their actions.
It is twenty first century and we are in dire need of eliminating this feudal mind set from our society. It’s not only the Waheeda Shah case, each day numerous such cases happen in interior Sindh and Punjab. Why such feudal are given free hand from the law enforcement agencies? Isn’t the law of Pakistan applicable on them? Are all the laws only for middle class and poor ones? The very simple reason for all these is that, we vote these feudal in elections and elect them as our parliamentarian representatives? We are the one who bring them in power. Most of the candidates of P.P.P and P.M.L-N are feudal and if such mind set have been given the authority by our votes, how could we accept the change in our society? All in all the drop scene of Waheeda shah’s case is the victory of justice and tight slap on the feudal mind set, but this justice should prevail in the society with same zeal.

Story time: Mind-blowing!

by EESHA ABBASI

The blackboard and my biology teacher slid in and out of focus as I tried to keep track of what was being taught to us. Beside me, I could see my partner Sherbano struggle to keep her mouth from hanging open, making her look witless.
Behind me, Aryba was carefully applying nail polish to her inch-long talons using my back to hide herself from the teacher’s line of vision. Two rows away Urooj and Wania were playing tick-tack-toe on a scrap of paper… That’s what friends are for, to make you feel better.
Incidentally the topic being explained was ‘The human brain’. “The human brain is an incredibly complex organ; it’s capable of doing things that would be considered miracles in some ways. After millennia of research, scientists have barely started to scratch the surface of the true potential of the brain…”
My teacher paused to add some labels to the drawn figure on the board before continuing, “Have you ever wondered how amazing it is? I mean aside from the fact that it controls all physical bodily functions, is responsible for secreting hormones that outline a person’s mood and all the rest of biological entities. It allows you to think, remember, memorise, judge, form logic and detect patterns. It is a person’s last sanctuary, it protects a person’s privacy, their secrets and feelings that they want to conceal.”
At this point I saw a few students rise from their stupor. “Imagine this: you were thinking something about someone that you wouldn’t want them to hear, and by some miracle they happened to hear your thoughts like that twisted vampire you teenagers are so crazy about!”
Some of the girls shouted “Edward!” The class giggled.
The teacher now had the class’s undivided attention. Taking this opportunity, she quickly continued, “So like I was saying, this world would be the target of turmoil if that happened… I mean, freedom of thought is every individual’s right, everyone thinks without thinking, do they not?”
A murmur of acceptances ran through the class. “So I have an interesting assignment for you all, whenever someone annoys you or when you are angry with anyone, say your siblings, parents, friends or teachers, and you are thinking horrid thoughts about them; imagine for a moment that your mental barriers have been shattered and they can hear you… would you want them to hear you? Try thinking aloud. Believe me it will change the whole way you interrelate with others.”
“Ma’am are you going to give marks on this?” some nerds in the class asked,
“No dear, it’s just a practical ‘fun’ thing to apply in daily life”.
“Oh,” she said.
I thought ‘Ugh! She is a nerd.’ Immediately I was reminded of our project. This was going to be weird.
When I got home my cousin Zoha was home from a shopping excursion, bubbling with excitement, she couldn’t wait to show me the clothes she had bought and, of course, to enlighten me with her incredible tales of haggling over the prices. “So what do you think of my dress?” she held up a ghastly green dress.
‘I wouldn’t be seen dead in it’ I said to myself but to her I said, “Wow I love the colour! It’s so drab… I mean delectable.”
She beamed, “I know and I got it so cheap you wouldn’t believe it!!”
‘Oh I believe it!’ I thought, but sweetly turned to her and said, “Really. You can hardly tell!”
She brightened up, “I know! You go ahead and try it out!”
‘What?’  I decided to open up my mental barriers, “Err… actually I don’t really want to try it out.” A hurt look crossed her face as her face fell. ‘This is impossible; I can’t hurt her like this!’
I gritted my teeth and said, “On second thought it really wouldn’t hurt to try it out!” Thinking aloud definitely wasn’t a good idea in this case.
My elder sister Ayesha is kind of obsessed with her kitchen skills nowadays, which means that we have to taste her experiments — unfortunately most of them are not edible!
“Eesha come taste my ‘forest casserole’.”
I looked at the jumbled collection of vegetables with a charred smothering of cheese ‘Is this forest muck? I swallowed “Am I supposed to eat it?”
She glared at me. Impatiently she filled a large bowl with her casserole, thrust a fork in it and shoved it in my hands, “Now eat!”
I whimpered inwardly, ‘Oh dear I would rather eat mom’s spinach.’
She growled threateningly “You don’t want to eat my casserole? Do you think it’s not delicious?”
‘That sounds about right!’
She thundered “Well?”
I shook my head muttering “No, of course not.” Mustering up my courage I deposited a forkful into my mouth. Tears gushed from my eyes and I gasped. ‘Too much chilli!’ was the last thing I thought before I ran to the washroom and threw up… What I thought about it afterwards, is not fit to be printed.
“So girls! How was your experience? Aren’t you glad our brains protect our thoughts?” the teacher asked in the next class.
Reja held up her hand “Ma’am I think it’s a huge blessing, I mean it was mind-blowing once I pondered on whether other people should hear my thoughts or not! It would have been a disaster.”
The teacher smiled, “Quite rightly spoken. Now everyone I want your practical journals today! No excuses”
Breath stuck in my throat ‘I forgot about the cursed journal.’
The pile on the teacher’s desk grew. She stared expectantly at me, “Eesha may I have your journal?”
‘I am dead today!’ “Um… actually… I uhh…”
Her soft gaze turned stony, “You didn’t forget it, did you?”
I gulped, crossing my fingers “Uhh not exactly … I just ran out of pages so I had to buy a new one and, I swear, I’ll hand it in tomorrow!”
She inspected my face for some time; I averted my eyes from her lest she saw through my lie. “Okay… I’m letting you go this time but I want it tomorrow.”
Relief washed over me and I almost said out loud, ‘I’m so glad you are not Edward…’
That’s when she glared at me and said “What did you say?”

Every man should know some Flirting techniques

Hot date on the horizon? Planning a night on the pull? Or just fancy your chances with the blonde in Bought Ledger? Well, we've got a few suggestions on how you can maximise your chances. All you have to do is master these 10 crafty flirting techniques.
Flirt with your follicles
Women might complain about 'pash rash' but they still can't resist a bit of stubble on a man. No, they literally can't resist. That's because a susceptibility to stubble has been pre-programmed into the female brain by Mother Nature herself in order to identify fertile males.
"The higher a man's testosterone level the faster his stubble growth and that acts as a strong visual badge of masculinity," says body language expert Allan Pease, who reckons the optimum length for attracting women is three days-worth of growth. Bad news for razor manufacturers, perhaps, but great news for you.

Scare the daylights out of her
Let's face it, caution and safety have never been sexy. Danger and spontaneity, on the other hand, are powerful aphrodisiacs. And there's a scientific reason why attraction and danger are linked.
Studies have shown that fear is more likely to bond people than laughter because the accompanying release of stress hormones triggers an instinct to grab hold of the nearest person for the sake of safety. Take her to a nice slasher flick for your first date and that nearest person is going to be you.

Smile like you mean it

According to a study by the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, 88% of women remember a man with an attractive smile. But there's a big difference between flirtatious and lecherous.
The most effective smiles come from within so think of a genuinely pleasant moment in your life as an 'inner prompt' and flash both sets of teeth to show you're genuine. Some subtle licking or biting of the lips works wonders too since women recognise these as a classic flirting techniques. Subtle is the key word though - you don't want her to think you get all your flirting tips from Twilight.

Spray to play

Fragrance has long been a useful weapon in a man's flirting armoury and with good reason. Not only has a study by the famous Kinsey Institute revealed that women who sniff a male fragrance while fantasising about an erotic experience become more sexually aroused, our sense of smell is handled by the same part of the brain associated with basic instincts - including sexual desire.
If you want to make sure fragrance really hits the spot with her go for ones like Thierry Mugler's A*Men or Chanel's Allure Homme Edition Blanche which contain vanilla - a recent survey showed it to be one of women's favourite smells.

Never appear too interested

Locking eyes and smiling is clearly the most obvious sign you're interested in a woman but never over do it. "With the flirtatious smile, the flirter should briefly show enjoyment, gaze away, then back," advises Daniel McNeill, author of The Face: A Guided Tour.
Looking away isn't just an effective tease, it's also a powerful flirting technique because it sends out a conflicting signals, forcing the object of your affection to look closer at you to get reassurance that you're actually interested.
Be creative

Notorious womanisers, whether Burton or Byron, weren't popular with the ladies purely because of their good looks - their creativity played a part too.
When a team from Newcastle University in the UK explored why some men were more of a hit with women than others they discovered a link between creativity and sexual success. Artists and poets came top of the list, with up to three times more partners than non-creative types. So when she asks what you do in your spare time you're a poet, right? Or play double bass in a jazz quintet. Or paint erotic nudes.

Tease with type
With a survey by the UK's Flirting Academy showing that eight out of 10 women love flirting at work, knowing how to attract attention through email is useful skill to have.
"Many men treat email totally differently than conversation and become incredibly formal or brusque," says Marc Katz, one of America's leading dating coaches. "Instead, write as you'd speak, show your personality and make sure you ask lots of open ended questions so she has to reply. Never ask questions that she can merely reply 'yes' or 'no' to." Cutting and pasting her name into the opening line of the email is clearly a very bad idea.

Play the game

Ok, here's a fact: women are miles better at reading body language than men. In fact, research by psychologists at Harvard University in the US has shown that women are able to read body language correctly 87% of the time compared to just 42% for men.
So why not play to the gallery and consciously send out the right signals? When men are flirting we preen ourselves, stand erect to increase our height, put our thumbs in our belt with fingers pointing at our crotch and stand with our legs open and with our feet pointed at the object of affection. Throw these into your flirting and she'll soon get the message. In fact she'd have to be blind not to.

Use your ears

"Listening is an underestimated quality when it comes to flirting," says Marc Katz, one of America's leading dating coaches. "If you listen and ask questions while flirting it makes a person feel important and shows that you're genuinely interested in them - and there's nothing more flattering."
Admittedly, this may take some practice on your part - especially if all she wants to talk about is the latest Sex and The City film - but is worth a go. Don't overdo it though, you're not interviewing her for a job as your cleaner.

Don't be too tidy

Women might be attracted to a well-groomed man (it shows you're capable of looking after yourself and by implication other people including her too) but it doesn't always pay to be too well presented.
In fact, a little untidiness can positively work to your advantage, especially as women can't resist tidying men up. This is why some flirting coaches suggest wearing a tie and leaving it slightly crooked - the idea being that women simply won't be able to resist straightening it. And once she has her hands on you half the battle is won.

5 Lessons from Imran Khan & PTI Branding and Marketing Strategy

Last two events of PTIJALSA both in Lahore and Karachi presented a new, and for many an unexpected support to this relatively new political force in Pakistan. Tahreek-e-Insaf was formed in 1997 as a movement for justice. There were handful supporters who continued their loyalties for a party that did not have any backing from the masses.

So what changed public perception about the party and how did Imran Khan managed to raise its brand equity to a level that pulled out the most lethargic people to support his Jalsas in the two major cities of Pakistan.

Before we start analyzing it deeper, one must realize that the most powerful global brands are using entertainers and sportsmen in increasing their brand value. The reason is simple, people follow entertainers and sportsmen, and hence they are able to create massive market for the brand.

Lesson 1: Imran Khan realized this and combined the two, his value as sportsman and team captain together with entertainers such as Shahzad Roy, Abrarul Haq and the Salman Ahmed. This classic combination worked in the early days and started creating some vibes.

Lesson 2: PTI realized that the older generation in Pakistan has become somewhat rigid and youth is easily transformable because they are frustrated with the usual politics. He focused at youth as the segment that he wanted to market PTI brand to and youth is mostly attracted to music. A job well done by Shahzad, Abrar and Salman for early mobilization for youth power.

Lesson 3: Imran Khan used the success stories of Shukat Khanum Hospital and NAMAL College as tangible examples of successful projects initiated by him that are considered as most transparent and corruption free private sector initiatives. He used these two projects in projecting his leadership and team building capabilities.

Lesson 4: PTI clearly outran its competition through effective use of technology. Pakistan has around 22 million internet users of which 5.5 million are hooked at facebook and about 0.5 million are twitter users. Imran created a dedicated team of techies to capitalize on this massive opportunity. As result of this, PTI has over 200,000 fans on Facebook. Imran’s own page has over 300,000 fans and around 150,000 twitter followers. This helped PTI mobilizing massive crowd at both Jalsas. During the Karachi Jalsa, at onetime 98 tweets per second were being sent that helped in trending PTI, PTIJALSA and IK on global Twitter trends.

Lesson 5: PTI has been branded as a political force that will address the issues of corruption, nepotism, injustice and inequitable treatment to poor masses of Pakistan. This careful positioning of PTI brand has now established that the people of Pakistan can count of them as a true movement for justice.

Media support was cherry on the cake, and why don’t they support the Tsunami. PTI brand has become so powerful that it started attracting political giants from other parties. This is however also a caution point for Imran Khan and his team, they really need to carefully evaluate the individual for credibility before offering party membership. Any wrong decision at this stage will hurt the brand image!
